Begin with the breath. Experience the seasons: breathe in thinking about the regrowth and the beauty of spring, pause and experience the fullness of summer, breathe out and imagine the leaves falling and fall unfurling, pause and experience winter. Repeat and let yourself feel each season.
What did winter make you feel like? Did you experience that it, too, has a purpose? Perhaps a time to rejuvenate, reflect, and prepare for the blooming and blossoming of spring? It is very easy to categorize winter as this dark, grey, depressing time. Choose to look at it as a time for yourself, to nest, and to enjoy. After all, have you not noticed that each snow storm is followed by a beautiful, bright day of sun?
