Find Your Equilibrium

    Qualified figures can help you reestablish and evolve your equilibrium. This can reoccur in different stages of life. For me, this happens in anticipation of a big change or rather routinely. Mentors, life coaches, psychologists, and impartial friends with whom you can have a truthful relationship (which is fruitful when you are first honest with yourself), can veer you in the right direction. It is like a team; your team. Professional athletes have their squad of coaches, physical therapists, trainers, psychologists, and nutritionists. You, too, deserve to have your own team that encourages you to create a life you love.

    You are not expected to find the perfect balance. What is calibrated for you may, in fact, be off balance for someone else. But, that is what works for you. There is no one size fits all. Decisive to finding your balance is knowing that it is strictly pertinent to empowering you to function and live at your best. There is also a window for healthy oscillation within your calibrated range. That is why when you have a big dessert or take a sick day, your life does not spiral out of control. You are still functioning within your range. Similar to the “normal” weight to which you revert, you will gravitate towards your center of balance. Your body knows what it is doing. Just like it knows when it needs water, sleep, and sunlight, if you give your mind and body the time, space, and circumstances, it will find its balance.

    It all boils down to creating a life you love, which, although it may seem out of reach at times, is within you. It requires you to follow the burning drive inside of you; the combination that works for you. You will get there and will realize that your current state of equilibrium is just where you need to be.

    I have been working on recalibrating myself and finding the right balance of everything. As you work towards it, the pieces of the puzzle start to assemble; it feels great. Imagine how spectacular it will feel when you are in equilibrium!

    If you are looking to explore deeper into the topic of equilibrium and balance in life, these books were utterly applicable and enjoyable. They are not all considered self-help or works of non-fiction, but they challenge your mind to reflect on these ideas.
