Can't Stop The Feeling // ALB's 2017 Academy Awards’ Best Dressed

Can't Stop The Feeling // ALB's 2017 Academy Awards’ Best Dressed

One way to get everyone to smile: have Justin Timberlake open the Oscars with that BEYOND Can’t Stop the Feeling and Lovely Day medley! And, seeing Jessica jamming in the aisle and beaming with pride made it that much more incredible!

City of stars, are you shining just for me? Oscar glitter, glam, and gold! Subtle shimmer, elegant neutrals, and statement reds (OMG, Viola Davis!); the 2017 Academy Awards’ Red Carpet was one of the most recently exquisite. The women certainly made their leading-lady statements, demonstrating their inner and outer beauty. And, not only are they stunning, but they are talented and sensational performers as well.

It is difficult to play favorites, although one [couple, mentioned above (and below)] stands out!

Justin Timberlake, in Tom Ford, with Jessica Biel, in Kauffman Franco // JT: Tom Ford, JT's other wife, and he make the perfect pair. And boy did he choose well. JB: feminine, classic, subdued, yet unquestionably Oscar-worthy. A work of art paired with natural makeup and understated jewelry. Well, except for that breathtaking Tiffany & Co. necklace; it makes the look! Touché, Jessica and Estee Stanley.

Emma Roberts in Armani Privé // Emma [Roberts] channels her inner Emma [Stone]. Beautifully done, making it her own.

Viola Davis in Armani Privé // Viola stunned in yellow at the Golden Globes and stole the red carpet’s signature color (in addition to the Best Supporting Actress Award for Fences) in this magnificent dress last night!

Isabelle Huppert in Armani Privé // Giorgio seems to be the key to a red carpet win. And Isabelle certainly deserves the accolades.

Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Ferretti // Alberta has had a wonderful fashion season. From her Days of the Week Sweaters, seen on anyone who is anyone, to this timeless look, this Romagnola designer is the one to wear. Looking good, Cookie!

Ryan Gosling in Gucci // While Gosling honored the 1970s in his Gucci suit (the ruffle placket is oh so Alessandro Michele)...

Emma Stone in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci // ...Emma paid homage to the 1920s in Tisci's beautiful design.

Jennifer Aniston in Versace // Hollywood's Golden Girl kept us wondering, playing it low-key (forgoing the carpet) and making us eye her glimmering glow in the second row. And boy, was she glowing, front and center next to her very own JT. No need to call for attention on the Red Carpet; Jen embodies glamour at its finest.

Charlize Theron in Dior // In her signature deep V, Charlize's look is pure Hollywood gold.

Karlie Kloss in Stella McCartney // No white after Labor Day? Says who? Also, is this not reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow's Tom Ford from the 2002 Academy Awards?

Ginnifer Goodwin in Zuhair Murad // The attention attracting red and delicate detail is so flattering on Ginnifer.

Love and unity were in the air last night. As Sylvain Bellemare, winner for Achievement in Sound Editing for Arrival, said, “love is all we need.”
