Welcome to The ALB Standard!
For the past 18 months, I have been emanating creative energy, which has inspired me to draw, write, sketch, read, and even mix music. I have been more curious than ever about old and new interests, but could not satiate my craving for more. Finally, after 11 months of change (the biggie being moving back from Italy to the United States) and personal growth, I found myself in a deluge of ideas and inspiration. I was ready to create.
The ALB Standard was born.
A new space for me to be me, in all my forms: ALB the artist, the writer, the designer, the student, the DJ.
I am not only looking forward to sharing, but I am excited about it all being FOR you; a resource for YOU to discover unique new locales, to delve into the thick and thin of life and wellness topics, and to figure out how to plan a fab outfit eight hours before hosting 12 family members for Thanksgiving. Can't sit still through your 11 minute meditation because it gives you even more anxiety? Let's talk about it. I am here for you!
Though still young, I am sage in my years; my background in retail, luxury, languages, and differing cultural values gives me a credible perspective on life and living unlike that of anyone else. This does not make me perfect; I am not aiming to impart my wisdom onto you, but I aspire to apprehend and grow together.
There is a strong stigma around bloggers and what they do. It is by no means neither easy nor simple. The discipline and learning that goes into launching a website, networking, and producing content you are proud of is hardly elementary. Putting yourself out there is even more challenging; you will have just as many critics as fans. However, you are the one creating, you are the one being true to yourself. It is your heart and passion that drive you to continue.
I would not be where I am today, nor would The ALB Standard be here, without the support of my family and friends. Thank you for following me and accepting ALB for who I am; it is only the beginning.
WELCOME to The ALB Standard!
